John Birch passed away on the 11th March 2002. He had heart problems but he sadly died from cancer in the stomach. He had 3 brothers and no sisters, he lived with his sister-in-law who lived at Hylton Castle. He had 2 neices who he loved very much. John meant a lot to his family and his friends. John was a bubbly person and always liked a laugh and a joke but you could always tell when he was poorly or not feeling his self.
John Birch is sadly missed by his family and friends and always will be.

Hi Uncle john i have been watching the video's that you used to take at christmas and when i was born it has been so funny. I remember when i fell off the slide and the sun bed. It was funny when one christmas you were recording me and you forgot the year you nearly said 1986 and my nanna had to remind you that it was 1996. My nanna was laughing at you because you used to say 'recording now Joan' but you used to talk yourself.

Hi Uncle John i have'nt seen you for six years it just seem's like yesterday since i found out you had passed away. The funny thing is i can still see you cutting apple's up like you used to. Can you remember when we went to Florida and we were coming home and you got your picture took in Olando airport with your can of beer i can it's on the mantal peice so we never think you are not here with us. My mam has passed her NVQ level 4 you would have been so proud to see her work and effort.
